These chandeliers are much more delicate than I expected but they are so pretty. I put tiny gold beads on the first tier and added a pair of small earring dangles to the second tier along with a couple of bali style dangles.
Delicate looking but sturdy. Used palace green opal rounds and garnet rounds for dangles. Makes a statement without being overwhelming.
I've made two pair of earrings out of these... I wired two 4 mm bicones to 1st tier and small briolettes (same color) onto 2nd tier. I get so many compliments that a co-worker paid me to make a pair for her in a copper bead color. She loves them. Hung them on a normal earring hook that simply hangs through the ear hole.
I ordered 3 of these--two obviously for earrings and one for a pendant. I put the pendant on the 18" leather olive green necklace. I am so happy wearing the earrings every day once I attached them to tiny little gold hoops that I had always worn. Wearing them everyday on an earwire caused me to lose them--but I always found them and I'm incredulous that I did. I'm not even sure I'm going to embelish them with other beads--perhaps the pendant with some small crystal beads. But they are so elegant without adornment and they don't look "naked" without crystals or beads that I will probably leave the earrings as they are.
