I love working with bugle beads. I use them in a design I call "star clusters". Using a basic tubular even peyote stitch I start with 3mm bugle beads and seed beads to form a square or rectangle consisting of about 3 to 5 rows of beads. From there I add 6mm bugles then 9mm bugles and finally 12mm bugles. I have used these stars in bracelets and earrings.
The color are just like they looked on site and so is the quality. They are a great price for the amount that is in a package
Beautiful in a neclace, bracelet, earing and ring
These beautiful Japanese Bugle beads are cut whit amazing precision.I like the lustered cream,it's easy to work whit and easy to mixe with another color.I do a ladder stitch with those bugles and the hole large enough to pass the thread again&again.
These beads are a really lovely cream tone and worked perfectly with my Mexcan Crazy Lace Agate cabochon. They were very uniform in size, and the edges were not razor sharp or jagged, as some bugles can be. In this case, they are a great accent in fringe, but they could certainly play a larger role too. I belong to the Upper Midwest Bead Society, and was really glad of the opportuniity to try these out. Thanks!
