Do Not get any Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel on this bead
I made a leather bracelet and used Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel on the leather knot at each end of my bracelet. A barrel slider bead was next to the knot on each end. As careful as I was, some glue must have gotten on the barrel bead and caused the bead finish to wrinkle and flake. I don't know how to get around this problem.
I made a leather bracelet that called for gluing and crimping or pounding this barrel bead to secure the leather cords. To my surprised, the gold plating flaked like aluminum foil. I had not expected that. I am glad I did not use a mallet to secure the bead to the leather. Instead I merely glued and used my long nose pliers to apply pressure. Expected more from TierraCast.
