Unless I have a reason NOT to use Fireline 6lb. smoke, it's my go-to beading thread. I feel confident that anything I make with Fireline, including pieces using sharp-edged crystals, will hold up over time. The smoke color fades into everything but the lightest and clearest beads so I don't worry too much about thread being visible. And a thread burner easily terminates any ends that show.
The BeadSmith Smoke Grey FireLine - 125 Yards (6LB Test)
Since I'm the new kid on the block in Bead Weaving, this is all I know. FireLine! Great product and going thur FireLine like WILD FIRE!!!! I'm SMOKIN' and insist using on my "at-least-one-bracelet-per-day" projects.
Thread shreds on me.
my "go to" stringing material for bead weaving
This is my "go to" for bead weaving. I find the color works best for most of my color schemes without showing, it's really strong yet supple. It's also very thin so you can fit several thread passes even thru 15 seed beads.
