This epoxy is clear and does bond glass nicely. The setup is longer than other epoxy bonds that I have used, where I have waited until the setup starts and allow the adhesion to maintain position of the fragment. When I did that with this epoxy, even after waiting 15 minutes, the fragment crept under gravity and I had to strip and start over. This is why I gave it a neutral rating.
Recently broke a Swarovski crystal rose, actually broke one of the leaves off. One of the very delicate stems broke when something else fell on it.
Not even where we bought it knew about this Swarovski cement. Found this at Arbeads and it arrived quickly as ordered.
Most importantly, after mixing it up as per directions, the two ends were brought together in their previous configuration and allowed to dry for 24 hours. Excess dry cement was very carefuly trimmed off with a sharp knife. The bond is good and very very solid. When the rose is placed in its usual position, the repair is not visible at all. Fantastic stuff!
Great Product....Be Prepared
Works well ....but there are some conditions ...
Tried this product on several materials...adhering Swarovski flatback gems.
Must allow full dry time in reasonable temperature conditions.
If your room is too cool....this epoxy will take a long time to dry. Boost the temp or keep at 75 for cure time of about an hour.
Pieces you are adhering to must be completely level
If at any slight degree angle...the gems will shift or slide
Will not let go once fully cured...ever...😊
Swaovski Crystal Two-Part Epoxy
