These jump rings are the heaviest rings Artbeads sells. 16 gauge rings are the strongest ones I use for my jewelry needs. They are strong enough to hold my pieces together. When it comes down to it, that's all that matters. They are a little hard to open, but in my opinion, that means it's going to be harder for my pieces to fall apart. They're a bit pricey, but can you put a price on high quality?
These are good for doing projects that require a thicker jump ring. Such as, heavier necklace or bracelet, or just want your project to be secure! It works well, but for the toggle I used, the jump ring was a bit large when trying to fasten. I will be using these to make a necklace very soon!
These o-rings are a good size, and nice and sturdy. I make lamp work beads, and use a lot of silver in my jewelry. I can always count on these to hold up.
