These size 15/0 Delica seed beads have a gorgeous green and blue color that is enhanced by an Iris finish, adding a variety of brilliant color accents. Their tiny size is consistent, which makes weaving with them a pleasure. With a large hole, you can pass your thread through the beads multiple times without breaking them. You can also count on their color being consistent time and time again. For bead weaving, looming, or as spacer beads, Miyuki's Delica seed beads are a must-have for every beader.

Each 8g package contains approximately 2900 beads.

LIghtweight and Delicate Earrings!
By Carol-Anne on July 18, 2009

I truly loved working with these tiny beads. I'm a big fan of size15 and smaller seed beads generally, and I love Delicas -- but now having these smaller Delicas to work with is just wonderful! I used these size 15 Delicas to create a pair of earrings from a pattern in Diane FitzGerald's book "Shaped Beadwork." The Double Open Hexagon Earrings are delicate to look at and surprisingly lightweight when completed. I also used the Silver Lined Transparent Crystal size15 Delicas as contrast on the angles of the Hexagons. I added a Swarovski crystal bead to one of the points on the smaller Hexagon and this catches the light beautifully as the earrings move. I finished the earrings with sterling silver french wires. The beads were easy to work with, and I had no difficulty at all with a few thread passes through the beads. These are a perfect bead choice for shaped beadwork but I would definitely emphasise the need for excellent lighting conditions when using the darker beads.

Made my project!
By Marilou on July 6, 2009

These tiny delicas were perfect to make a beaded bead out of pointed back rhinestones (ala Laura McCabe). Their tininess allowed for more detail as well as allowing more of the rhinestone to be seen. Gorgeous! Be sure to use a small needle (size 12 or 13 or even 15) when making multiple passes as these beads break fairly easily at stress points.
