Great quality, but watch out for color
I have been using Delica brand beads for a while now in seed bead stitch work and they are fantastic due to their consistent shape and supposedly consistent color. I needed more of this color that I had previously bought from another online store so I made sure to match the Delica identification number (DB0723), since every store names them something different. I was not disappointed with the quality, but when I started making an earring with a mix of the beads from here and the other store, I noticed that this red was slightly darker. It was just enough to be able to notice that they are different shades of red. I don't know if this is a problem with this lot or which site had the problem, but it was disappointing that I had to take apart the earring and now I may not be able to mix beads of the "same" color when I buy a new batch of beads.
These beads are great for on or off loom work! They line up great to form a good looking piece and the color is outstanding. Even though they seem to be on the high side compared with other "seed beads" it is well worth it when you have a great looking piece when you are done. You can tell the difference in quality of beads.
Grenada is my adopted country and their national colours are red, green and golden yellow. These beads were perfect when I wanted a peyote ring to celebrate Grenada's Independence Day on February 7. I love the way that the delicas line up perfectly, just like little bricks.
I just learned of these unique uniform cut beads and I am switching everything over to them.. Even shared the find with others that do loom work.
