Great sturdy clasps and easy to work with
I mostly do gold filled but sometimes people want silver so I got the silver filled. Be sure you don't pull the wire thru too hard when bring your piece together, you can get a kink right around the holes and when you are finished you have a hump right there and only other alternate is live with it or redo the piece. I learned right off about that and gently work the wire thru the holes in the magnetics, they are just wonderful, they are very strong, I did one for myself with heavy pink beads and it hasn't come loose yet nor any of the ones I've done for other people. They want me to change some of the older pieces to put the magnets, I know there is a work around with the magnetic on it and probably a lobster clasp but have yet to find them, I know it will be cheaper all around. I love them as do the people I do jewelry for
These clasps would not stay closed and jumped off easily
I was disappointed after reading good reviews of Mag-Lok clasps that they fared as poorly as my less expensive magnetic clasps. I tried them out on a light bracelet, and it repeatedly came apart, so I will be returning them. Unfortunately, I think I am going to abandon using magnetic clasps altogether- while I love them for the ease of putting on bracelets, I have had too many customers have problems with them coming apart or falling off to make it worthwhile to use. If anyone has a better magnetic clasp option that actually stay closed and don't jump, please let me know!
I love these magnets, they make the bracelets i do so easy to work
So easy for arthritic fingers but very strong as well. I really love them for my bracelets and definitely will be re-ordering soon.
