Works great for my needs!
I'm not sure about the fuss regarding this end cap. I don't ever use it with any chain or cord thicker than .8 to .9 mm. It does need a little bit of seasoned handiwork because of its tiny size and a super thin chain. I probably wouldn't use it in a beginner class as it requires a certain amount of finesse when using such little glue and a light handed crimping motion. Even with my experience, I had to practice a few times before I got it right. Now it's my go-to cap for very thin chains.
I really like this type of cord crimp end. They are attractive and easy to use. However, this particular one (PSA-CREND006), is a little more inconsistent in the hole size than I am used to. I bought a ton of these several years ago for a class I was going to be teaching. Fortunately, I had also ordered the next two sizes up to give my students the opportunity to choose what look they liked best. In the years since then, I have stopped even putting them out for students, because the hole size is unpredictable making them especially challenging for a beginner.

The reviews ran the gamut from fantastic to awful, and so far, I have to lean more toward the negative side, since the very 1st one I tried broke. The other ones I bought are great!
I was using small round leather cord for a eye glasses holder.( The kind that hangs around your neck.) The cord was too thick to close with a crimp bead. I was on the hunt. Spotted these & decided to try them out. I liked them but it was hard to find the right size.
