Material Fine Silver .999
Finish Hammered
Place Of Origin Thailand

Add texture to your designs with this Hill Tribe silver hammered tube bead. The bead is thin with a hole large enough for stringing onto wire. The entire surface is covered in randomly placed irregular dents that give it an organic feel. Try it with turquoise chips or as a spacer between larger glass beads.

These items contain a higher silver content than sterling and are hand-crafted by the Karen Hill Tribe in Northern Thailand. This item is handmade, so appearances may vary.

love these hammered tubes
By kapers on June 21, 2011

their textured finish looks great teamed with stones, ceramic and glass - and gives an organic touch to bracelets and necklaces.

Nice quality, thick heavy silver beads
By Robin on July 16, 2010

These hammered tubes are really nice. They are thicker and heavier than I'd expected. They have a natural, simple appeal. I will use them in a bracelet design, as bracelet components can typically take a "beating" and I have no doubt these will hold up nicely.

Nice, 'organic feel' piece
By Duska on May 14, 2010

I like the spacer a lot! It's relatively simple, not shiny, and has an organic feel. I wish it was a bit bigger, so that a leather cord, at least 1.5mm could go through (you can still fit 1mm though). I'm going to use it in a long strand (so mostly in vertical position) with natural shaped semiprecious stones and Hill Tribe simple leave beads.
