I'm still practicing with the insert. I used a pin in the center hole and made a loop.
very useful system!!! Pretty too.
"I really like the Magic Finding. I read about it in a magazine and was excited - I had been looking for something like this to make multi-stranding easier. The crimp takes many strands and holds them in place. Then when you actually crimp it, it ends up looking like a simple ball shaped bead. And the inserts look cleaner than a wire guard in terms of design. Bravo to whoever came up with this idea!"
These are easy to use and make a great finish to the necklace strands.
Beats the alternative, with some issues
"This finding is great for multi-strand projects, or for transitioning from chain to beads with the Omega. My issue is that I am not able to get the Omega to stay seated in the finding while crimping. Also, the Omega gets marred when I am crimping the multipurpose finding. However, overall the crimps seem to be holding just fine and the look is MUCH better than alternative methods. Not sure if the problem is my technique (though I follow the instructions) or the product."
