I have neuropathy in my hands, but this tool is not too small for me to maneuver! so handy having several uses in one tool too!
Cutter too dull. Not a reach for tool. I put mine in car for emergency uses.
Well made and appropriate for the occasional jewelry maker. The small size makes it easy to stash away.
Not as great as it sounds...
I have had one of these for about 2 yrs. I bought it so that I could bring work with me and not carry 4 or 5 different tools with me. Great concept, but in the end, you really sacrifice quality. I carry 3 different tools now when I travel. Sadly, this is not one of them.
The cutting area is not flush, and gets dull VERY quickly.
The flat area is way to thin/skinny/small to do what is supposed to do efficiently. I end up inadvertently cutting my wire, or crimping the wine and weakening it, rendering my design useless.
The round nose portion of the pliers are useful, but they taper to quickly, not gradually like round nose pliers. Wire slips easily, and again, I get poor results and ruin my design.
I use the pliers occasionally to hold thicker pieces of metal that can't be "hurt" in the flattened portion, and I use the round nose portion to make designs in my polymer art pieces.
I dislike waste - so I try to use what I have in various ways. So, it is not totally useless, but I do believe I would have spent my $20+ in a better way.
