Majestic glitter fills these blue goldstone beads from Dakota Stones. These beads feature a classic roundel shape that would work well in necklaces and bracelets. Goldstone is glass with flecks of copper suspended in it. The glass is made in a reducing furnace with copper salts added; the copper platelets suspended within the glass gives the material its characteristic glitter. Goldstone has been around since the European Renaissance and stories say it was discovered accidentally by Venetian monks. Metaphysical Properties: Known as the stone of ambition, blue goldstone is often used in healing and when dealing with hypersensitivity.
Because gemstones are natural materials, appearances may vary from piece to piece. Each strand includes approximately 24 beads.
Led by Jeff Elvin, Dakota Stones offers beautiful semi-precious gemstone beads. They take care to have a high-quality finished product by following their gemstones through the process of creation from rough rock to finished beads and cabochons.
