I like that this is a little heavier and stronger elastic than the .5 size; yet, it can be used for all size stones from 6mm to 12mm.
Purchased the Elasticity to repair a bracelet that had lost its stretch. Followed the instructions on how to tie and connect the ends. After trying multiple times I've decided this is not the product to use.
Elastic cord Beadalon Elasticity 0.8mm
I have conducted my own stress test to compare various elastic cords, which are available on the market. Beadalon Elasticity came out on the top, showing the same results as widely known Stretch Magic.

I have always only used Bead Smith Stainless Steel Beading wire and Sterling Silver fixings and clasps with my Swarovski Beads. But the size of the wire is .014" or .35mm. I am not sure how that compares to what you want to use. But I know that I have enough room to go through the beads twice, as I have to at the ends so that means double the width can go through. Perhaps that might be of help to you.
