The Good, the Bad and the Pretty
The Good: It would be excellent for wire-wrapping if 20 gauge, a fairly substantial weight, suits the item being wrapped. It is nice and malleable.
The Bad: It's waaay to soft for jump rings; a use specifically included in the description on the web site. Unfortunately that's why I bought it; that and ear wires. I don't do wire-wrapping. I may use it for wrapped loops but I don't know if the wire is hard enough to hold a circular shape in a loop.
The pretty: Well, it is pretty - a beautiful bright copper... haven't had it long enough to say whether it tarnishes or not but other reviews say it doesn't.
This is why the less than excellent rating. For wire-wrapping alone, I would rate it five stars.
I love this copper wire and do not have to worry about it tarnishing It is easy to work with and the finished item looks beautiful
I can't get enough of this wire. Want it in every finish and every gauge.
This wire is terrific to make a wire beaded headcovering.
