Material Sterling Silver .925
This sterling silver split ring can be used in a variety of jewelry making applications and is a staple item in every jewelry maker's bead box. This split ring is ideal for use in jewelry when you want a better hold than what a jump ring can provide. This ring works like a key chain ring, making it easy to attach your favorite charms, pendants and other components. It's sure to keep a firm hold. Use this split ring in any jewelry design, including necklaces, bracelets and earrings. It features a bright silver shine so it will work with any color palette.

Too weak to be useful.
By TigerLily on December 24, 2013

So far everything I've received from Artbeads is great....every now and then i get an incorrect swarovski bead shipped...but no big deal. These spllit rings are very ,very weak....i've purchased split rings from artbeads before with no issue. They must be using a new supplier....these are really non usable for my purposes. Not suittable for attaching charms either. I had to re-source them locally because i needed them to fill orders.

Not what I expected
By TamaGo on December 10, 2011

I use split rings when I fear an open jump ring will come lose and I've always found split rings to be sturdier. With that expectation I used these specific ones when making a glasses holder, to my surprise they came back "broken" within a few days. After inspecting it closer the split ring had unraveled to a swirly looking piece of metal. Maybe with lighter projects, such as a small bracelet, it'll be fine, but it wasn't as strong as I was hoping.
