I’ve used these for years now and I’m very pleased with them. You have to be gentle with all crimp covers. You have to line them up and keep an eye on them as you apply gentle pressure. I’m not in the best of health, I shake and have spasms in my hands. Even so, I rarely waste one. All you have to do is go slow and be gentle! This applies to ALL metal crimp covers.
Would be a 5 star review if they were able to take a bit more force.
I agree with the other reviewers who said these crimp covers are soft and require a gentle hand. But that said, I still think these are great covers, and, after I got used to them, found that the softness of the metal actually gave me more control when it came to making them close straight and having the ends line up perfectly. Also, I have not found anyone else that carries antique copper crimp covers, so please Artbeads keep these guys around!

My first time working with crimp bead covers. It did take a gentle hand with these but with very slight adjustments these worked and looked good.
