Of all the Czech glass buttons I have, this one is my favorite. The picture on here is really good, but it still just cannot do the button justice. I snipped the shank off because I plan to use this for bead embroidery to make a pendant out of it. I will need to add some padding behind it because the button is a bit like a shallow bowl (back side up). Not a problem. The shimmer is amazing and the color is so vibrant! It is a true peach. If you're not sure about this, I say go for it, get it. You will love it! I've been keeping it on my nightstand (until I'm ready to use it), because looking at it just makes me happy. I rarely ever make jewelry for myself, but this one will for sure be a project for me. I WILL make another one as a gift or to sell, but not before I get one made for myself first. I never do that, so maybe that will tell you how exceptional this button really is. Btw, do not use your beading tools to cut the shank off. My husband used a par of tin snips. The shank is very strong and would destroy your regular beading snips/cutters.
You can see the button latch through the crystal--I liked everything else about the button.
