Now that I have had a chance to use these head pins a LOT, I have discovered that the heads on these pins are a bit large, and a little off-centered. When using smaller beads (approximately 3mm) I noticed that the head of the pin protrudes a bit from the bead, which is not very attractive looking, and has a tendency to scratch. Also, the head of the pins are a bit off center from the post. It's not really that noticeable from your average person's perspective, but being the creator, it is noticeable. However, I DO like the fact that they are 20 gauge sterling. It makes them extremely strong. I will continue to buy these and use them in my pieces. However, I won't purchase them as often, because I will be a bit more selective how and where I use them.
These head pins are SO strong! I use these to make pendants and such with. I use a simple loop at both ends to connect to others beads made the same way, then attach those to pieces of chain. It makes a really cool necklace!
I LOVE these headpins! I have ordered 20 ga. headpins from other suppliers and they feel more like 22 or 24 ga rather than 20 ga. These have also never broke after "breaking" their necks.
i do not do a lot of wire wrapping therefore I like a 20 g wire.
