I was looking for a delicate chain that could still handle jump rings. This chain is delicate just like I hoped and takes jump rings just fine. I used a small 24 gauge jump ring to attach my clasp (code: SS-OJR20-B). For the clasp I used a lobster claw (code: SS-CL01) and a closed jump ring (code: SS-CJR-FD). It looks great!

This is a great delicate chain. Able to take 22g jump rings.

I had planned to use the chain for a large pearl station necklace. Only to realize, luckily, that the gauge was too small for the support I wanted. The chain is much too beautiful to not be used, so in playing around I made two long slender tassels, using forgotten narrow ornate silver bead caps and attaching small round silver beads on the end of each chain in the tassel. I am now making a long simple silver necklace to attach them too. Those who have seen them not only want the necklace but also tassel earrings too match. So this MISTAKE turned out BEAUTIFULLY. I will be buying much more of this beautiful dainty chain.

925ch1 is a great chain where you want the fine chain look but it's still strong enough for routine wear. Also it has an anti-tarnish finish. Be careful, though, to purchase headpins, etc. less than 1mm in diameter; otherwise larger diameter headpins won't fit through the holes.
