Woodland Wonder Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of Antique Copper 18 gauge Artbeads Designer Wire approximately six inches long. Add a TOHO Demi Round 8/0 bead in matte-color iris teal, followed by a Vintaj Artisan Copper pineapple bead, and another Demi Round. Make a wrapped loop at one end of the beads. Start a wrapped loop on the other end of the beads. Before finishing the loop, make sure to slide on a 1 1/2-inch length of antique copper-plated textured oval cable chain and the forest squirrel on mother of pearl pendant. Close the wrapped loop.

Cut another 6-inch piece of Artbeads Designer Wire. Add a Demi Round, a pineapple bead, and a Demi Round. Attach one end to the end of your chain by making a wrapped loop. Make a simple loop at the other end of the link.

Slide a Czech glass 6mm round bead in gold and smoky topaz luster onto a 14k/20 rose gold-filled 2-inch 24 gauge ball-end head pin, followed by a TierraCast antique copper Jasmine bead cap, and a vintage pearlescent bronze TOHO 4mm round bead. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the beads. Repeat for two dangles. Open the simple loop of the link on your focal. Add a Vintaj natural brass triplasian leaf pendant, followed by one of the dangles you just made. Close the loop.

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 20 inches long. Slide a TierraCast antique copper 2x2mm crimp onto the end of the wire, followed by the last link of a 7-inch length of chain. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide with a 3mm antique copper crimp cover.

Add the following bead pattern to your wire:

• One Demi Round
• One vintage TOHO
• One 6mm Czech glass round
• One pineapple bead
• One 6mm Czech glass round
• One vintage TOHO
• One Demi Round
• 11 vintage TOHO beads

Repeat twice, only adding five vintage TOHO beads to the last sequence. Add a Demi Round, a vintage TOHO, and three 6mm Czech glass rounds. Then, slide on your squirrel focal. Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the focal.

Add the Vintaj natural brass cherry leaf charm and your last dangle to a 4.5mm antique copper-plated 21 gauge open jump ring. Attach this below the center sequence of Czech glass round beads with a pineapple bead in the center using a TierraCast medium oval copper open jump ring.

Attach a 12x5mm antique copper-plated lobster clasp to one end of the necklace using an oval jump ring. Attach another oval jump ring to the other end of the necklace.
