Since I used cotton tassel cord for this tassel, it was easy to just knot the ends to keep the beads at the end of the cord in place.

Tranquil style is achieved with Dakota Stones gemstone beads in this beautiful necklace. Lapis, Peruvian amazonite, and rainbow moonstone all make an appearance. A tassel focal completes the look of Waterfall Memories.

Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a length of Beadalon metallic silver on black cotton tassel cord approximately 2-3 inches long. Knot one end and string on a Dakota Stones lapis 6-10mm chip bead, a TierraCast silver Kenyan heishi spacer, and another lapis chip bead. Attach and knot the other end of the cord to a 2-inch silver-plated 20 gauge eye pin. Repeat three times, knotting to the same eye pin.

Cut a length of tassel cord approximately 2-3 inches long. Knot one end and string on a Dakota Stones Peruvian amazonite 4-6mm pebble bead, a TierraCast antique silver 4mm Rococo round heishi spacer, and another Peruvian amazonite pebble bead. Attach and knot the other end of the cord to the same eye pin from the previous step. Repeat five times.

Slide the 10mm antique silver-plated pewter filigree end cap onto the eye pin, to hide the tops of the tassel cord dangles. Add a lapis chip bead to the eye pin and make a wrapped loop at the top of the bead.

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 23 inches long. Slide a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube onto the wire, followed by half of the TierraCast antique silver butterfly clasp set. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Add the following bead pattern to the wire:

A TierraCast Kenyan spacer
A lapis chip bead
A Kenyan spacer
20 amazonite pebble beads
Four lapis chip beads
Three amazonite pebble beads
Four lapis chip beads
Two amazonite pebble beads
Four lapis chip beads
One amazonite pebble bead
15 lapis chip beads
One Dakota Stones rainbow moonstone 4mm round bead
One rococo spacer
Two moonstone beads
One rococo spacer
One moonstone bead

Slide your tassel onto the wire and make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the tassel.

Slide a crimp tube onto the wire, followed by the other half of the clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
