Becky designed this spooky Halloween tombstone and ghost with our free seed bead graph paper. Then, she brought them to life with the amazingly precise TOHO Aiko seed beads. Learn how to make them for yourself for some hauntingly fun style.

Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Start a ladder stitch that is 19 seed beads long to start making the tombstone, as shown in the Tiny Tombstone PDF Diagram. We used one TOHO Aiko 11/0 precision cylinder seed bead in opaque frosted oxblood and 18 TOHO Aiko seed beads in opaque matte gray iris.

Continue to the next row with a decreasing brick stitch, following the color pattern outlined in the PDF Diagram. Then, follow the diagram for the rest of the rows, using increasing and decreasing brick stitch accordingly.

Weave your thread back into the tombstone to secure and trim. Make sure to secure and trim the tail, too. Once your piece is complete, you can stitch a pin onto the back or incorporate it into your jewelry in other ways
