For this necklace I took a theme from a book I love and combined it with seed beads.
With Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, all of us fans, and yes, our kids were looking for Harry Potter jewelry. After finding nothing fun at all, we made our own. We hope you enjoy it too
Attach a sterling silver open jump ring to the sterling silver lightning bolt charm, sterling silver letter H charm and the sterling silver letter P charm.
On the sterling silver 2-inch eye pin thread approximately 1 1/4-inches of amber blues toho bead mix. Finish with a simple loop. Connect the lightning bolt charm to the loop on the eye pin.
Cut a 22-inch piece of jewelry wire. Use a 2x2mm gold-filled crimp tube to crimp the jewelry wire to the eye part of the antique brass-plated Bali-style hook & eye clasp. Thread 7-inches of amber blues tohos, the H charm, 1 1/2-inch amber blues tohos, the lightning bolt dangle, 1 1/2-inch amber blues tohos, the P charm and 7-inches amber blues tohos. Use a crimp tube to crimp to the hook part of the clasp. Trim excess wire.
