We were inspired to create this piece by a photograph of a long and elegant antique necklace. This kind of necklace is called a sautoir, which is a French term for a long necklace displaying a tassel or other ornament. These types of necklaces were introduced in the early 1900s when silhouettes were becoming more streamlined, but really came into popularity during the 1920s and 30s, thanks to their resonance with the art deco style. With the styles of decades past coming back into vogue, this stylish necklace is perfect for making a dramatic statement in your looks. The modern bride would look especially demure with this accessory dangling from her neck.
Thread a 6mm crystal globe bead in Jet followed by a PP18 black mini plastic rondelle with Crystals and a 4mm Czech glass round bead in jet matte onto a 20 gauge sterling silver 1-inch eye pin. Add the 10.5mm pavé bead with Jet baguette fancy stones onto the eye pin so that the Czech glass round bead rests inside the stringing hole. Add another Czech glass round bead inside the stringing hole of the BeCharmed bead and then thread on another rondelle and Jet globe. Finish this BeCharmed link with a simple loop. Set this link aside for now.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
