Shining Moon Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 16 inches long. Slide on a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube to form a small loop in the wire. Crimp in place and trim the tail of the wire. String 80 4mm round crystal Pearlescent White pearls onto the strand. Add another crimp tube, bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Set aside for now.

Cut a 16-inch length of jewelry wire and slide on a crimp tube. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. String 50 6mm round crystal Pearlescent White pearls onto the strand. Add another crimp tube, bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Set aside for now.

Cut a 16-inch length of jewelry wire and slide on a crimp tube. Bring the wire back through the tube and crimp in place. String 38 8mm round crystal Pearlescent White pearls onto the strand. Add another crimp tube, bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Set aside for now.

Cut a 16-inch length of jewelry wire and slide on a crimp tube. Bring the wire back through the tube and crimp in place. String on three TierraCast rhodium Kenyan heishi spacers and three 10mm coin crystal Pearlescent White pearls. Repeat eight times and add three spacers. Add another crimp tube, bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Set aside for now.

Cut a 16-inch length of jewelry wire and slide on a crimp tube. Bring the wire back through the tube and crimp in place. String on a TierraCast rhodium-plated pewter small cube spacer EuroBead, a 4mm faceted round in Crystal Paradise Shine, a 4mm bicone in Crystal Iridescent Green 2X, a faceted round, a bicone, a faceted round, a bicone, and a faceted round. Repeat nine times, then add a EuroBead, a faceted round, a bicone, and a faceted round. Add another crimp tube, bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Set aside for now.

Cut a length of silver-plated textured oval link chain approximately 12 inches long. Set aside with the other strands for now.

Cut a length of 20 gauge silver Artbeads Designer Wire three inches long. Form a simple loop on one end of the wire. Add the ends of all your strands onto the simple loop. Slide a TierraCast 10mm rhodium-plated brass capitol cord end cap onto the wire, over the ends of the strands. Add an 8mm pearl to the wire and create a wrapped loop at the top of the bead.

Twist the strands together by separating the strands into three groups of two and braiding them before completing the other end. Repeat step seven for the other end of the necklace.

Cut two lengths of textured oval link chain approximately six inches long each. Make sure the small oval links are the last links on each end of the chain. Attach these lengths of chain to one end of your necklace using a sterling silver 4.30mm open jump ring. Attach half of the TierraCast 3/4-inch antique silver-plated pewter Anna's toggle clasp set to the other end of the chains using a jump ring. Repeat this step on the other side of the necklace.
