Separate the Dakota Stones 4mm fancy jasper faceted round beads by color. Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 12 inches long. Slide a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a 4.5mm gold-plated 21 gauge open jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Add a fancy jasper bead in a light purple color to the strand, followed by a Miyuki 11/0 Duracoat galvanized champagne Delica. Repeat this pattern 38 times. You will create a gradual color change in the pattern by using different colors of fancy jasper beads. Add one more fancy jasper bead to the strand once you have achieved the desired effect. Slide a crimp tube onto the strand, followed by a jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Cut a length of Gold 22 gauge Artbeads Designer Wire approximately two inches long. Slide a pale purple fancy jasper bead onto the wire and make a wrapped loop at one end to attach it to the jump ring at one end of your jewelry wire strand. Make a wrapped loop on the other end of the bead.

You will repeat the previous step to continue attaching beaded links to the last one added. Add two more purple fancy jasper links to the chain. Then, cut a length of wire approximately two inches long. Slide a Dakota Stones moss agate top-drilled 8x12mm teardrop onto the wire and attach it to the previous bead link by making a wrapped loop at the top of the beads.

Continue making beaded links and attaching them following this pattern:

• Four dark green/purple fancy jasper bead links
• One teardrop dangle
• Five light green fancy jasper bead links
• One teardrop dangle
• Four dark green/brown fancy jasper bead links
One teardrop dangle
• Five brown/purple fancy jasper bead links
• One teardrop dangle
• Three purple fancy jasper bead links

When making the wrapped loop at the end of the last bead link, attach it to the jump ring at the other end of the jewelry wire strand.

Cut a length of satin Hamilton gold-plated double rollo chain approximately 4 1/2 inches long. Attach it to the jump ring at one end of the necklace. Attach the gold-plated mini lobster clasp to the end of the chain using a jump ring.

Repeat step six for the other side of the necklace. Instead of attaching a lobster clasp, attach a gold-plated 7mm split ring to this end of the necklace.
