Dakota Stones gemstone beads create a beautiful color play in this multi-strand necklace. By separating the fancy jasper beads by color, Erin from Dakota Stones was able to create waves of rainbow color within each strand. Shining gold accents creates a regal touch to this unforgettable design. Learn how to make this necklace and get inspired to create cool gemstone color palettes in your jewelry designs.
Separate the Dakota Stones 4mm fancy jasper faceted round beads by color. Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 12 inches long. Slide a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a 4.5mm gold-plated 21 gauge open jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
When making the wrapped loop at the end of the last bead link, attach it to the jump ring at the other end of the jewelry wire strand.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
