Carrier beads are unique Czech glass beads with a rectangular shape and two stringing holes. They look great when used on their own, but you can also decorate them with peyote stitch bands. This allows you to create custom jewelry filled with your own personal style and your favorite colors. Learn how to make this bracelet and start adding carrier beads to your jewelry designs.
Make an even-count peyote stitch with eight TOHO Treasure 11/0 matte opaque rainbow white seed beads. These will make up the first two rows of the stitch. Then, add two rows of TOHO Treasure 11/0 matte dark olive seed beads. Continue alternating two rows of white and olive for a striped look. You will need 56 rows to fit over the large carrier bead.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
