This necklace just looks so elegant – I can't help but feel a little bit fancier when I wear it!
Gemstone beads are often filled with inspiring colors that will spark creativity for the rest of your design. The powder blue impression jasper beads from Dakota Stones in this necklace feature soft blue and pink swirls that are fit for a princess. Cynthia paired them with Swarovski pearls in a sweet Rose Peach color and brilliant silver chain. You can see more inspiration for using blue gemstones in your jewelry designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 10 inches long. Slide a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by the last link of a 9-inch length of silver-plated 3 strand + 3 link chain (make sure the last link is a large flat oval link). Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide the crimp with a sterling silver 3mm crimp cover.
Repeat this pattern once.
Repeat this pattern twice. Then, make a mirror image of the bead patterns from Steps 2 and 3 on the other side of the center flat chip bead.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
