Simple necklaces come together to create a beautiful layered look full of woodland style. The beaded strand adds lush and shining green tones, while the ball chain necklaces feature fun feather and owl charms. You can find more inspiration for creating layered jewelry in this Artbeads Cafe Episode.
For the beaded necklace, cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 28 inches long. Slide a TierraCast 2x2mm black finish brass crimp tube onto one end, followed by a 4.5mm gunmetal-plated 21 gauge open jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Repeat 16 times, leaving off the last 10 olivine luster beads. Slide a crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a 4.5mm jump ring attached to a gunmetal-plated 9x5mm trigger clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
