Gemstone beads from Dakota Stones make a beautiful display in this simple necklace. Cynthia used two pieces from a gemstone pendant set at the center of this necklace. You can see how she used other pieces from the set in her Blue Flame necklace.

Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately seven inches. Slide a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube onto one end, followed by a 5mm antique silver-plated 18 gauge open jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Slide an Indian silver 5mm daisy spacer onto the wire, followed by a Dakota Stones blue crazy lace agate 6mm round bead. Repeat twice, then add another daisy spacer, a Dakota Stones lapis lazuli flame pendant and a daisy spacer. Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of this daisy spacer.

Add a crimp tube to the end of the wire, followed by a jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Cut a length of 3mm antique silver-plated wheat chain approximately six inches long. Make sure only one link is exposed on either end of the chain. This will make it easier to attach jump rings. Attach the end of the chain to the jump ring on one end of the beaded strand. Repeat this step for the other side of the necklace.

Attach half of the TierraCast antique silver jubilee clasp set to each end of the necklace using a jump ring.
