There are so many ways to mix your beads with other materials like fabric and yarn. Cheri created this bracelet with TOHO seed beads and ribbons and yarns on the Ricks Beading Loom. She even knotted her fabrics on the edges of her bracelet to add even more style. You can see more ideas for adding fabrics and fibers into your jewelry in this Artbeads Cafe Episode.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions on how to warp the Ricks Beading Loom. Decide on your bracelet length and set the loom length for the number of rows needed. Laying flat, the woven part of our bracelet measures 6 ¼ inches. The bracelet is 12 beads across, so warp the loom for 12 rows.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
