Teardrop shapes are fun to play with in your designs. These bloodstone beads from Dakota Stones feature fun colors that add to the playful look. Cynthia paired them with crystal beads in a scalloped look that's easy to achieve. Learn how to make this necklace and add in your favorite gemstones for a new take on the design.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 16 inches long. Slide a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube onto the wire, followed by the last link of a 5 1/2-inch length of 5mm silver-plated rope chain. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide the crimp with a sterling silver 3mm crimp cover.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
