Hoops of Hazel

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately eight inches long. Slide on a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube, followed by a sterling silver 5mm 20.5 gauge open round jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide the crimp with a sterling silver 3mm crimp cover.

Add the following bead pattern to the wire:

• Eight 2mm gold metallic suede fire-polished beads
• One 2mm brown iris fire-polished bead
• One 3mm silver fire-polished bead
• One brown iris bead
• Six gold metallic suede beads
• One brown iris bead
• One silver bead

Add one more silver bead to the strand and then make a mirror image of the bead pattern.

Crimp the end of the strand to the same jump ring at the start of the strand to form a hoop. Hide the crimp with a crimp cover.

Slide a brown iris bead and a silver bead onto a 1 1/2-inch 22 gauge sterling silver head pin. Make a simple loop at the top of the beads. Open the loop and attach it to one end of a JBB sterling silver tiny leaf link.

Open the loop on a 925/10 silver-filled 1.5-inch 22 gauge eye pin and attach it to the other end of the leaf link. Add a silver bead to the eye pin, followed by four brown iris beads. Make a simple loop at the top of the beads. Open the loop and add the dangle to the jump ring at the top of your beaded hoop, between the ends of the beaded strand.

Open the loop on the ball end earwire and add it to the top of the jump ring on the beaded hoop. Close the loop.

Repeat steps one through six to create the other earring.
