Blue Multi-Strand Bracelet with Miyuki Tila Beads, TOHO Demi Rounds, and Sapphire Ice Designer Swarovski Blend
designed byBecky Dahl
Approximate Size6 Inches
The colors and shapes in this bracelet make me want to travel to Santorini, Greece! The cascading pattern looks like flowing blue water.
Miyuki Tila Beads blend beautifully with a dazzling Artbeads Designer Blend featuring Swarovski Crystals in this multi-strand bracelet. A clever stringing pattern ensures all of the strands stay together. The addition of TOHO Demi Rounds adds even more blue color and keeps the beads lined up nicely. This bracelet will make a stunning accent to any ensemble.
Cut nine lengths of Soft Flex Trios wire each approximately ten inches long. You can use just one color from the Tranquility blend for your wire strands or mix in all three colors to match the blend of beads used in the bracelet.
Slide a silver crimp tube from the Beadalon mixed metals #2 crimp tube pack onto one of the wires and then bring the wire through the last loop on one side of your silver-plated 5-strand magnetic clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Attach your next wire to the same loop in the same manner.
Add your next wire to the second loop on the clasp using a crimp tube. Add the next two wires to the third or center loop on the clasp using a crimp tube for each. Add the next two wires to the fourth loop and then add the final two wires to the fifth loop, again using a crimp tube for each.
We added each row of the bead pattern to all of the strands. We used TOHO Demi Round beads with the Swarovski beads to make them closer in length to the Miyuki Tila Beads. Follow this pattern for Row 1:
A TOHO Demi Round 11/0 bead in Metallic Cosmos, a pearl from the Swarovski 4mm Crystal Mix Sapphire Ice Designer Blend, and a TOHO Demi Round on the first strand
A Miyuki 5mm Tila Picasso coated seed bead in dark denim lapis on the second and third strand
A Demi Round, a bicone, and a Demi Round on the fourth strand
A Tila Bead on the fifth and sixth strand
A Demi Round, a bicone, and a Demi Round on the seventh strand
A Tila Bead on the eighth and ninth strands
Repeat this pattern in reverse order for Row 2. Feel free to use pearls and bicones from the blend interchangeably. Repeat the pattern once again in the same order for Row 3. The three rows should be alternating in the pattern order.
Add this bead pattern for Row 4:
A Demi Round, a bead from the Blend, and a Demi Round on the first strand (if this sequence is touching the same bead sequence in the previous row, omit the first Demi Round. We didn't want two Demi Rounds touching in our pattern.)
A Demi Round, a bead from the Blend, and a Demi Round on the second strand
A Miyuki Tila Bead on the third and fourth strand
A Demi Round, a bead from the Blend, and a Demi Round on the fifth strand
A Miyuki Tila Bead on the sixth and seventh strand
A Demi Round, a bead from the Blend, and a Demi Round on the eighth strand
A Demi Round, a bead from the Blend, and a Demi Round on the ninth strand
Repeat steps four and five to continue your bead pattern until the bracelet is the desired length, keeping in mind that the clasp adds about one inch of length. Make sure to keep reversing the order of the pattern of each row. This will ensure that there aren't three Blend beads stacked on top of each other at any point in the pattern.
Crimp the ends of the strands to the other half of the clasp in the same manner as you did on the other end.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
scheme—it’s up to you!
