We put Cynthia and Cheri to the test in our necklace stringing Artbeads Cafe episode. We presented them with a beautiful array of beads to come up with necklace designs on the spot. Cheri was immediately drawn to the Golem Design Studio bead in this piece. She paired it with Dakota Stones gemstones and Czech glass in a rich look that speaks to her unique style.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 20 inches long. Slide a TierraCast antique copper 2x2mm crimp onto the end, followed by half of the 10mm antique copper-plated round magnetic clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Repeat the pattern three times, then add a hexagon chip, a seed bead, a hexagon chip, and a 4mm gemstone bead to the strand. Add the Golem Design Studio stoneware lentil bead with a spiral and foliage paisley design to the strand. Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the Golem Design Studio bead.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
