Add sparkling layers to your style with this sleek and sophisticated necklace. This necklace uses multi-strand connectors to create a layered look. The connectors allow you to add or remove layers, so you can wear all three strands together, two strands or just one. It's a new necklace every time you wear it You'll love sporting these layers at formal affairs, at work or anywhere
Creating the first link: Add a 4mm faceted round in Crystal Vitrail Medium to a 2-inch 22 gauge sterling silver eye pin. Add a 10mm round pearl in Light Grey, followed by another Crystal Vitrail Medium faceted round. Finish the eye pin with a simple loop. Repeat this step 11 times for a total of 12 links. Label these the Light Grey pearl links. Set aside for now.
Creating the long strand: You are going to attach your links and varying lengths of the antique silver-plated brass alternating tiny and small disc chain together to create the strands of your necklace. You will use 4.6mm jump rings to connect each part. Follow this pattern for the longest strand:
Follow this pattern for the medium strand of your necklace:
For your shortest strand, cut a length of chain approximately 16 inches long. Attach the Nunn Design sterling silver-plated pewter medallion charm with crystal to the center of the chain using a 4.6mm jump ring. Add a Lassero sterling silver large circle charm with cut-out center and crystals to a 4.6mm jump ring, followed by a Lassero sterling silver tiny round charm with crystals. Add two more jump rings and attach the Lassero dangle to one side of the Nunn Design medallion charm. Create another Lassero dangle to go on the other side of the Nunn Design medallion charm.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
