Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Use a length of Regaliz 10mm black Arizona flat leather approximately 16-18 inches long. Punch holes on the center of the leather approximately two inches apart. This is where you will add the chain for dangling your bird focal.

Attach a TierraCast 3.7mm brass oxide pewter eyelet to each hole you punched.

Cut a length of antique brass ball and cog chain approximately four inches long. Attach one end to one eyelet using a 6mm antique brass-plated open jump ring. Attach the other end of the chain to the other eyelet in the same manner.

Attach the large brass bird in flight pendant to the center of your chain using a 6mm jump ring.

Try the leather around your neck and trim the ends for a comfortable choker fit, keeping in mind that the clasp is about an inch long, and 1/4-inch of leather goes into each end of the clasp. For more help with measuring, check out this resource. Then, insert the ends of the leather into the ends of the Regaliz 10x2.5mm antique brass-plated checkerboard magnetic clasp. Check the fit again before gluing the leather in place within the clasp.
