I played with different color combinations to create these twisted wire cuffs. Use what I chose or try your own!
The multi-strand wire twister from Beadalon is a great tool for adding texture to designs. The twisted wire creations can be used so many ways in jewelry. Cheri created simple twisted wire cuffs in all kinds of colors with help from Artbeads Designer Wire. See other ways for using twisted and coiled wire in your designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Cut three pieces of 18 gauge Artbeads Designer Wire about three times as long as you need for the finished cuff. You will need about six to eight inches of twisted wire for each cuff. Occasionally the wire will kink or it may break in the middle while you are twisting. We started with about a yard of wire per strand and made three cuffs with the finished piece of twisted wire.
Attach your strands of wire to the Beadalon multi-strand wire twister, and then secure the loose ends to a fixed object, such as a door knob.
Twist the wire as shown in the video until you are satisfied or until the wire breaks for a tight twist. The tighter the twist, the sturdier the cuff will be. Memory wire shears cut the twisted wire nice and clean.
Cut about a six to eight inch piece from the twisted wire and form it around a round object until you get the shape you like. You can also use nylon jaw pliers to shape the wire.
If you are going to put a coiled wire bead on the cuff, use the wire twister with two strands of wire and then use the Cobra Coiler wire tool with the larger mandrel. We used 24 gauge Artbeads Designer Wire for the Orange and Peridot coils and 20 gauge Artbeads Designer Wire for the Amethyst coil. The coils are approximately 1 1/4 inches long. If they are much shorter, they will slide around on the cuff.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
scheme—it’s up to you!
