Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a length of jewelry wire, each approximately 20 inches long. Add a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube to the end of one strand, then bring the end of the strand back through the crimp tube and form a small loop (this loop will attach to an eye pin in step six). Crimp the crimp tube in place.

Add beads from the Vintage Wedding 6/0 Designer Seed Bead Blend to the strand. Leave a tail of about two inches and add a crimp tube. Slide the end of the strand back through the crimp tube to form a small loop and crimp the crimp tube in place.

Repeat step one and then add a random pattern of pearls from the 4mm Crystal Pearl Wedding Bells Designer Blend, 6mm faceted rounds in Crystal Luminous Green and sterling silver 3mm seamless round small hole beads to the strand. Leave a tail of about two inches and add a crimp tube. Bring the end of the strand back through the crimp tube to form a small loop and crimp in place. Repeat this step to create another strand of random beads.

Repeat step one and add a five-inch section of seed beads to the strand. Then, add one strand of Czech glass 5x7mm metallic gold pip beads to the wire. This should result in a seven-inch section of pip beads. Add another five-inch section of seed beads to the other side of the pip beads. Add a crimp tube to the strand and bring the end of the strand back through the crimp tube to form a small loop and crimp in place.

Cut a length of 2.3mm satin Hamilton gold-plated ball chain approximately 20 inches long. Insert one end of the ball chain into a JBB 2.5mm brass crimp end cap with loop and squeeze the end cap shut around the ball chain using chain nose pliers. Repeat on the other end of the chain.

Add the ends of your beaded strands and ball chain strand to the eye of a 2-inch satin Hamilton gold-plated 20 gauge eye pin. Slide a 10mm antique brass-plated pewter raised flower end cap onto the eye pin and over the ends of the strands. Add a seed bead to the eye pin and then make a wrapped loop at the top of the seed bead.

Manipulate your strands to create a twisted look, making sure the pip bead strand is in the center. Once the strands are manipulated to your liking, repeat step six for the other end of the necklace. Attach one half of the JBB gold-plated pewter flower toggle clasp to one end of the necklace using a 6mm satin Hamilton gold-plated 18 gauge open jump ring. Repeat for the other end of the necklace.
