We used The Beadsmith 1-step 2.25mm looper plier to make the simple loops for our beaded links. If you prefer, you can make simple loops with the help of chain and round nose pliers, instead. It is important to note that one 1-inch antique brass-plated 20 gauge eye pin is long enough to make two links.

To start the technique for making the seed bead caps for the tassels, string 30 Miyuki 11/0 Duracoat galvanized Muscat bronze Delicas onto the thread, tie the thread in a circle, and knot. Add one more row of Muscat bronze Delicas using the tubular peyote technique.
