Cheri used the 1-step looper from The Beadsmith to make custom beaded link chain featuring her chosen Blends. A bold tassel with a beaded cap completes the look. We used The Beadsmith 1-step 2.25mm looper plier to make the simple loops for our beaded links. If you prefer, you can make simple loops with the help of chain and round nose pliers, instead. It is important to note that one 1-inch antique brass-plated 20 gauge eye pin is long enough to make two links.

To start the technique for making the seed bead caps for the tassels, string 30 Miyuki 11/0 Duracoat galvanized Muscat bronze Delicas onto the thread, tie the thread in a circle, and knot. Add one more row of Muscat bronze Delicas using the tubular peyote technique.

This necklace features a strand interspersed with Czech glass beads links and a strand that is simply Beadlinx chain. The strand with Czech glass beads uses approximately two feet of Beadlinx chain. The plain Beadlinx chain strand uses about 22 inches. There will be enough components left to make a matching bracelet featuring Beadlinx chain and Czech glass beads if you desire.
