Artbeads Designer Blends featuring Swarovski Crystal create the perfect color palette in this intricate necklace design. Cheri used the 1-step looper from The Beadsmith to make custom beaded link chain featuring her chosen Blends. A bold tassel with a beaded cap completes the look. You can see more ideas for using Artbeads Designer Blends in your jewelry in this Artbeads Cafe episode.

Note:
We used The Beadsmith 1-step 2.25mm looper plier to make the simple loops for our beaded links. If you prefer, you can make simple loops with the help of chain and round nose pliers, instead. It is important to note that one 1-inch antique brass-plated 20 gauge eye pin is long enough to make two links.

You can create something special with DiamonDuo Mini Beads. They are a more compact version of DiamonDuo beads. They still feature two stringing holes, just like their larger counterparts, so they are fun to weave with. Cheri used the DiamonDuo Mini Beads in this scaled down version of her Sapphire Night bracelet. She even created a fun button with the beads to match the rest of the bracelet.

Colors of a tropical sea come together in this simple yet playful necklace design. This design is a great idea for using up any leftover beads you may have. You'll love coming up with cool color palettes that speak to you. Learn how Cheri created her color palette and then dream up your own version of this necklace!

Please Note: Our designer Cheri used one of our recent Gift with Purchase bead mixes to create this necklace. Cheri separated the free Czech glass beads into separate color palettes. One color palette features purple, green and blue; the other color palette features yellow, pink and orange.

Ariel Color Palette One

Then, Cheri added in even more beads for each separate color palette. She used Swarovski beads and more Czech glass beads.

Ariel Color Palette Two

She made the necklace in these instructions with the purple, green and blue beads, but she has another color palette for an entirely different creation. You can create your own color palette with any beads you may have on hand, whether they were gifts from us or if they are leftovers from other projects!
