Year of the Tiger Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Like those born in the Year of the Tiger, this bracelet is bold, fiery and seeks attention. These characteristics make this the perfect bracelet to wear when you ring in the Chinese New Year on February 15, 2010.
Step One: String a 6mm Swarovski XILION pendant crystal in light metallic gold with a double AB finish on a 4.60mm sterling silver open jump ring to create a crystal dangle. For help with jump rings visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Repeat 14 times. Set aside.
Step Two: Create dangles with the sterling silver tiger charm, the sterling silver Chinese symbol - health charm, the sterling silver Chinese symbol - happiness charm, and the sterling silver Chinese symbol - strength charm by attaching them to 6.10mm sterling silver open jump rings. Set aside.
Step Three: Cut a 9-inch piece of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire. Crimp one end to the bar end of the 16mm sterling silver spiral toggle clasp using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. On the wire, string in this order: 6mm Swarovski faceted round in crystal, 6mm Swarovski faceted round in light siam, three crystal dangles, light siam, crystal, light siam, tiger charm, light siam, crystal, light siam, three crystal dangles, light siam, crystal, light siam, happiness charm, light siam, crystal, light siam, three crystal dangles, light siam, crystal, light siam, health charm, light siam, crystal, light siam, three dangles, light siam, crystal, light siam, strength charm, light siam, crystal, light siam, three crystal dangles, light siam and crystal. Finish by crimping the end of the wire to the other end of the toggle using a crimp tube. Trim any excess wire.
