Step one: Cut approximately five feet of leather cord. String the sterling silver cross onto the leather and center it. Pull the cords together and tie a simple overhand knot.
Step two: String one round labyrinth bead over both cords and tie another knot with both together. String three chessboard wood beads over both cords and tie another knot, string another round labyrinth bead and separate the strands to tie two overhand knots in each side.
Step three: On each side of the cord, string ten of the oval chessboard beads, a single knot, round bead, single knot, ten ovals, knot, round, knot and five more ovals on each side. Finish by tying the two ends tightly together.
