With the new Harry Potter®* movie coming out in Summer 2009, we were inspired to make some fun jewelry to wear when we go to see it with our kids (okay, we're really big fans, maybe other times too). With wizards and castles and books all in Griffindor™* colors, we just couldn't resist this fun design.
Step one: Attach a sterling silver open jump ring to the sterling silver open book charm, antique gold plated pewter wizard charm and the antique silver plated pewter castle charm.
Step one: Cut a 10-inch piece of Zamba Pro 49 .019 jewelry wire. Use a 2x3mm gold-filled crimp tube to crimp the wire to the eye end of the antique copper plated pewter leaf hook & eye clasp set. Step two: Thread a lumi purple fire polished bead, a crystal gold 1/2 metallic coated fire polished bead, lumi purple, a Czech glass burgundy gold luster small spade, lumi purple, crystal gold, lumi purple, crystal gold, lumi purple, spade, lumi purple, crystal gold, lumi purple, one of the charms, lumi purple, crystal gold, lumi purple, spade, lumi purple, crystal gold, lumi purple and another charm. Reverse the pattern to complete the strand. Crimp to the hook end of the clasp. Trim excess wire.
