See more of these earrings in this short video.
Step one: Cut a six-inch length of the Artbeads Designer Wire, 24 gauge Rose Gold. Tightly coil the wire around the tapered top of the sterling silver pear-shaped link.
Step two: Cut a three-inch length of wire. Coil one end around a side of the pear link, near the top of the link. String seven TOHO 8/0 bead round hybrids in Apollo onto the center of the wire. Coil the end of the wire around the other side of the pear link, so that the beaded section is within the link. Make sure the wire holding the beads has a slight curve to it.
Step three: Cut a four-inch length of wire. Coil the end of the wire around one side of the link, below the first beaded strand of wire. String a TOHO onto the wire, followed by a 6mm white potato freshwater pearl, another TOHO, another pearl and a TOHO. Coil the end of the wire around the other side of the link.
Step four: Cut a four-inch length of wire. Coil the end around one side of the link and string twelve TOHOs onto the wire. Coil the end around the other side of the link.
Step five: Cut a four-inch length of wire. Coil the end of the wire around one side of the link. String on two TOHOs, followed by a pearl, a TOHO, a pearl, a TOHO, a pearl and two TOHOs. Coil the end around the other side of the link.
Step six: Cut a five-inch length of wire. Coil the end around one side of the link and string 17 TOHOs onto the wire. Coil the end around the other side of the link.
Step seven: Attach a sterling silver French hook earwire with ball and coil to the top of the link using two 925/10 silver-filled 7mm 18 gauge open jump rings linked together. For help with opening jump rings, please see our Jump Ring Handy Tip Video. Repeat steps one through seven to create the other earring.
