This decorative wine glass is the perfect touch for any festive table. Use them for the winter holidays, Valentine's Day, birthdays or just a Friday night with friends. They make great gifts too!
Step one: Cut a length of wire to approximately six feet. With your fingers, make a 90 degree bend approximately one inch into the wire. Hold that part of the wire against the stem of your wine glass. Fold the wire back on itself, and wrap several times until it is held securely to the stem of the glass.
Step two: Begin randomly stringing beads. Mix them up as you go. String approximately three inches of beads at a time and spread them out as you continue to wrap the wire up and down the stem of the glass. You can make it as sparse or dense as you like. Make sure not to bunch the beads too much. The spacing helps keep everything in place.
Step three: When you have finished wrapping your glass, tuck the end of the wire back under other wires, weave in and out a bit if possible for a secure hold. Pull the wire tight and trim the end. Note: Only wash by hand and dry thoroughly. Do not put in the dishwasher.
