Step One

Cut a piece of sterling silver wire between 22 and 26 gauge to a length of at least four inches. With your chain nose pliers, make a hook at one end of the wire. The size of the hook will vary depending on the type of fiber you are using. If your fiber is wider, then your hook will need to be bigger.
